The planning and development for the new Solitude lodge at Copper Mountain started in 2016. As the Creative Director on the project, our team was instrumental in all experiential touchpoints, environmental branding and bringing the entire structure to life across all touchpoints. The objective was to create a stunning mid-mountain lodge that would cater to year-round patrons at the resort. The 25,000 sqft structure would become a high-end wedding and concert venue, dining facility, and high-end restaurant as well as a hub for all-mountain related activities.

At the pinnacle of the lodge and overlooking the breathtaking 7-mile range and sky-chutes, was a cavity designated for a food and beverage offering. The experiential design team ideated several concepts with the resort stakeholders to formulate what was to become Forage & Feast. A high-end restaurant serving Colorado’s finest selection of locally sourced meats, foraged herbs/spices, and delicatessens from around the state. Our team worked with architects and interior designers to bring every touchpoint of the project to life. The concrete foundation was started in the spring of 2019 and the lodge was set to be completed and open in winter 2021-‘22. COVID had different plans for the development and forced the project to be halted in the spring of 2020. Its fate is still to be decided, but the following items were part of the experiential and branding touch points that would bring the space to life.
